I have always loved Netflix, I don't understand why they would do something like this. Netflix is preparing to make the move from Microsoft Silverlight to HTML5, to stream video content. Also, I read on a website that Netflix laid of 50 technical employees due to this new product. In this guide, i will be providing steps for Firefox and Explorer. The fix is simple, it is just a browser glitch. I wish they would not have changed- I know this player is still in BETA, but they should not have discontinued their old player until the bugs got all worked out. Netflix requires Microsoft silver light, and will usually prompt an error saying that either is not installed or it is installed but the videos won’t play via your browser. I'm thinking, I already have my drivers updated I don't need this and the player is still choppy. So I had to download it and try it out, and to find out it is very choppy! I called back and they said the choppiness could be due to my resources and what's running on the background and that my drivers may need updated. It's because your current browser version is out of date and uses the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in to play Netflix. Netflix brought you to this article instead of playing a TV show or movie. So I called them and asked about the situation, and they said they have a new player called Silverlight. If you're trying to watch Netflix and one of these things happens: Netflix says to install the Microsoft Silverlight Plug-in.

Has anyone had the disadvantage of having to use the new Silverlight movie player by Microsoft with Netflix instead of their old movie player? I had to reset my computer awhile back and noticed when I went to Netflix I couldn't watch movies anymore.
